He & his wife Emily were cofounders of the National Committee to Secure Justice in the Rosenberg Case and co-authors of "Exoneration: The Rosenberg-Sobell Case in the 21st Century." It is the inside story of those on the front lines battling to save Ethel & Julius Rosenberg at the height of the McCarthy-era hysteria.

Rosenberg Mention of the Day: Sharing a lovely and fitting tribute to legendary actor Ed Asner (an "unflagging supporter of socialist causes") which shares a number of stories of his art & activism, including his role in a film adaptation of a fictionalization of the Rosenberg Case. He stood for what was right, even though it cost him. May we all have his courage.

Excellent news to share! Ivy Meeropol (granddaughter to the Rosenbergs)'s documentary "Bully. Coward. Victim." has been nominated for a 2021 Emmy for Outstanding Historical documentary! The film depicts Roy Cohn's life and legacy, and (per HBO's description) "offers an unflinching look at the infamous attorney who prosecuted Ivy Meeropol’s grandparents, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, and later argued persuasively for their execution in what became known as the 'atomic spies' case."
