Rosenberg Mention of the Day: New from WAMC Northeast Public Radio, an illuminating interview with both Michael Meeropol, older son of Ethel & Julius Rosenberg, and author Anne Sebba to discuss her latest biography, "Ethel Rosenberg: An American Tragedy."

What did Michael feel this biography added to the lexicon of books already written about his parents? "What Anne has done, and in my opinion succeeded brilliantly,. . .is that she has recognized that in fact my parents are two people. They are not fused into an unbreakable unit. . .and Anne has been able to do that. . .She recognizes that women, and especially in the 1950s, were faced with rather dramatic challenges."

Listen to the interview in its entirety (33:11) here: https://www.wamc.org/the-roundtable/2021-07-26/ethel-rosenberg-an-ameri…

"Thank you for the grant you gave me. I hate that my father is in prison, but I'm glad there's an organization like you who not only understands, but goes even further to help."
