In 1953, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed on spying convictions. Steve Inskeep talks to Robert and Michael Meeropol, the Rosenberg sons, about their quest to have their mother exonerated. Listen to the interview at the link above.

"In the 1950's my father went to jail for being a member of the Communist Party. As a teenaged girl it was important to know that someone outside our own family cared what happened to us, knew that we needed emotional as well as some financial support. I know from my experience that the work you are doing is very important."
