This 90-minute film stars Angela Davis, Eve Ensler and Cotter Smith (as Ethel and Julius Rosenberg), radical hip hop artists Rebel Diaz, folk duo Mike + Ruthy, poet Martín Espada, members of the Rosenberg/Meeropol family, and other artists and activists.
The production uses dramatic readings, acted vignettes, poetry, music, and historical photos, to dramatize the last four days of the Rosenbergs’ lives through their prison letters and firsthand accounts from the Rosenbergs' sons, Robby and Michael Meeropol.
The film also tells the stories of present-day activist families the Rosenberg Fund for Children assists, and celebrates current movements for peace, environmental justice, immigrants' rights, civil liberties and other progressive struggles from efforts to end police brutality, to the fight to free all political prisoners.
