Supporting the Children of Resistance Since 1990

Join our mailing list or send your memories/photos of Seeger Fest or Pete & Toshi to info@rfc.org by July 22nd for a chance to win an RFC fan autographed by some of Seeger Fest's performers!

Here's our own tribute to Pete, who along with his wife, Toshi, was one of the original members of our Advisory Board:

Across the U.S., activists are being attacked as they struggle to:
PRESERVE CIVIL LIBERTIES ∙ WAGE PEACE ∙ SAFEGUARD THE ENVIRONMENT ∙ COMBAT RACISM ∙ AND ORGANIZE ON BEHALF OF WORKERS, POLITICAL PRISONERS, MEMBERS OF THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY, AND OTHERS WHOSE HUMAN RIGHTS ARE UNDER THREAT

When these activists are parents, their children suffer, too. When young activists are targeted, they experience repression directly.

The Rosenberg Fund for Children provides the shelter of a supportive community for the children and youth of progressive movements by funding prison visits; therapy; arts, sports and cultural activities; summer camp; school supplies; and other services to meet their educational and emotional needs.

The Fund was started by Robert Meeropol, who was orphaned at age six when his parents, Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, were executed at the height of the McCarthy Era. His daughter Jenn Meeropol now leads the organization, which has awarded over $5 million since 1990 to help both kids whose parents are working for social, environmental and economic justice, and also youth who are taking direct action themselves.
