Nerissa and Katryna (www.nields.com) are veteran singer-songwriters and favorites of the Northeast folk rock scene. They count Pete Seeger among their key influences; one of their parents' first dates was at a Pete concert!

The sisters bring gorgeous sibling harmonies and dynamic energy to their original repertoire of deeply personal and hard-hitting, topical material. Their song “Tyrants Always Fall” —penned as a response to Trumpism—is an anthem of hope and resistance for these troubling times.

This event will benefit the Rosenberg Fund for Children (www.rfc.org), a public foundation started and run by the family of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg. The Rosenbergs’ granddaughter Jenn Meeropol will speak briefly about the RFC’s work helping kids in the U.S. whose activist parents are under attack, and youth activists who are harmed directly.

With RFC funding, children are able to go to camp and get therapy, make art, play sports, and take part in other joyful and healing activities, while they or their parents fight to protect immigrants, combat racism and police brutality, preserve the environment, and safeguard civil liberties and the rights of queer and trans folks, workers, prisoners, and others whose lives are under threat. The Fund has awarded almost $7 million since its inception in 1990.
